FEATURES OF UNICOIL SYNTHETIC OILS

IT IS A PURER, CLEANER MORE CONSISTENT OIL

The manufacturing process involves breaking, rearranging and building molecules. By the time the final fluid is produced it has lost all the impurities from the starting materials therefore it is a consistent high-quality chemical.

Difference in cleanliness between a fully synthetic and a mineral oil.

THEY ARE FREE FLOWING AT COLD TEMPERATURE

is the impurities in the mineral oil that from waxes and cause it to stop flowing. This is one reason why vehicles may not start or have trouble starting at low temperatures using a mineral oil.

Synthetic oil is still flowing, whilst mineral oil has turned to ‘butter like’ wax

BETTER OXIDATION PERFORMANCE

Oil in the engine will reach a temperature where some of the oil will burn forming deposits on the engine components. A synthetic oil is formulated to have better resistance to oxidation resulting in less deposits.

After 30 hours at 200C mineral oil has solidified whereas the synthetic oil is still in good condition with minimal deposits
